Electric Mountain Lodge - PAONIA

The place went to hell since Luke and Alicia were fired two years ago. Worst decision of the owners. Had a group of managers who hated snowmobiles and dirt wheels, and wanted the place to be a yoga retreat that did not believe in chemicals in a public hot tub. I've never seen such yellow stenchy water before. Then they hired someone who's gone after 4 months. A month ago for lunch. Sat at a table, place was full, had two people working. How about grilling burgers outside so you can serve people? We were not even recognized for 15 minutes. We're all gone. This place has become a disaster again. No service, upkeep, etc. No wonder it is for sale again. Shut up.

From a wonderful stay at the Electric Mountain Lodge home. The accommodations are top-notch. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Dinner met the place after a autumn-color hike and breakfast was the perfect start to our day.

My husband and I hosted our wedding at the Electric Mountain Lodge, and I couldn't be happier with the way it went! The location is remote, but absolutely stunning. The amenities are enough to keep a large group well fed, well rested, and highly entertained. Most of all the chef is amazing! Fresh and local ingredients (veggies, fruit, meat, alcohol! Overall, I found the staff to be helpful and patient. The deluxe rooms were my favorite- comfortable beds, impeccably clean, and adorable mountain décor.

It is the only place where you get Wi-Fi for hours in every direction. The food is generally great. I didn't stay here so I can't comment on the rooms, but it's nice to visit when you camp in this area. My wife's family had a meeting there when one of her family members died and the staff there were very accommodating. We'll be back!

Great stay in January with a college old friend. We were in a two-person cabin that was perfect for us, and it has a nice warm shower. The lodge team took care of good food, cold drinks and solid advice for our snowmobile adventures. We will definitely come back!
