I love how colorful the place is and the art is to cool. They are always playing anime on the tv’s!! Definitely would recommend to anyone and everyone.Wheelchair accessibility: Lost of tables with easily removable chairs for easy handy cap access!
Don't let the name fool you, this is not an izakaya and the food isn't remotely Japanese. The theme and name is where the Japanese ended. It was 100% Asian fusion. Like many places, this place is grossly understaffed, but it didn't seem like any of the 3 servers were going above or beyond to compensate. We were mostly ignored. Note to staff, if a flavored sake is out, maybe don't suggest barefoot sparkling Moscato. More product knowledge would make for better substitution suggestions. As far as the food, the appetizers were the only good thing, but were a bit spendy. All of the food was overly salted. The tuna in the poke was super fishy and not marinated at all. The pork bowl was made with sushi rice as opposed to fried (like the menu stated) so it was an unexpected sweetness where it shouldn't be. The kimchi and other toppings were so salty we had to pick them off. The pork belly in the bowl had good texture, but no flavor.I by no means expected authentic Japanese, but I wasn't expecting to be so let down for what was supposed to be my birthday dinner.
I found the staff to be more friendly then another location. Glad I chose to give another chance.
Food was ok but expensive, wait time for food was a bit long. Had to find someone so I could pay, $60 dollar tab and they wouldn't take $100 bill. Won't return.
Food was pretty lackluster for the price. The ramen was ok but not great, just ok. The appetizers are good but again pretty expensive for what ended up being just ok.
