Its location, on Rue des Canettes just off Place St Sulpice, puts it on a narrow and crowded if major tourist and young peoples' thoroughfare, giving it a natural if transient constituency. We recently slipped in as a family, without a reservation, but not wanting to walk in the evening drizzle and were welcomed with courtesy and good service, if average food at touristic premium prices. A white pizza starter for the table elicited mixed reviews a matter of individual taste. A prosciutto starter was mediocre, while the millefeuilles caprese was well assembled and tasty. The peppery sharp arugula comprising the salads and dressing most of the main dishes was the high point. Grilled calimari were flavorful and prepared just to tender tagliatelle with pesto was cooked to excellent texture, but bland for flavor. At 140 euros for three people, including a bottle of Tuscan that needed 15 minutes to aerate its tannins, the value for price proposition is questionable. Further research in the neighborhood would yield better expectation matches.
Yummy pizza and pasta and the tiramisu is actually moist. It's a small place, so definitely get a reservation, especially on the weekends
Even pizza hut is not as fast when it comes to taking an order, preparing and serving a pizza. Average enough extra and relatively expensive! and for Italian specialties, I wish you to have a stomach a steel because more fat will be difficult to play! I wouldn't put your feet back on it and advise you not to risk it.
