He ordered the Menu Bobun which is cooked except for the raw vegetable garnish. The bean sprouts at the bottom of the bowl didn't taste right to him, so he stopped eating them after a couple of bites, but not in time to prevent him from getting very, very sick. I've had no bad reaction to either the sushi dish that I ordered or the raw veg garnish from his dish that he shared with me. We are frequent travelers who transit through the Gare Montparnasse at least 5-6 times per year, and we eat at the nearby restaurants whenever we can. We will never return to Yoki and will recommend to everyone we know to avoid eating at this restaurant.
They do great sushi and other traditional japanese homestyle food. The food was very good, service was good and not overly expensive.
Came across the place while walking about in Montparnasse. Excellent food and lovely staff. The teriyaki is excellent and you get veg and soup with it. With the coffee, I also got complementary pineapple. And the staff make every effort to please you even if you do not speak proper French. Great value and worth a visit.
On our last day in Paris we decided to eat at a Japanese restaurant because we just missed it. Actually the restaurant is run by Chinese people so it was not the authentic Japanese food we missed, but contrary to our expectations, it was not that bad at all. It seems they don't cook everything in the kitchen, but it's ok. And the price is very reasonable especially the set menu. Overall we enjoyed the good and a little curious Japanese food in Paris.
We made a prior reservation for this place. The food was great and moderately priced. The ambiance, service offered was 'the best ' that I have seen so far in Paris (during peak hours on Friday nights). A MUST go Sushi place.
