Have had some odd encounters with one of the staff members though. A young lady waiter gave us our bill and seemed to be rushing us out, as our first dish of sashimi had arrived. We had been there for 25 minutes, which felt like just sitting down. Not sure if they needed the space for someone else, but after we ordered more she came back a second time right after and gave us a bill again. Very odd occurance, and all the other times I've been there it's stellar. Would reccomend the sashimi dinner if youre a huge sashimi fan, all the fish included are amazing. They also charge a strangely high price for sherley temples as of late, they added it in as a specialty drink? In experience every other place I've been, combing grenadine and sprite doesn't take a mixologist. This also only recently changed for this establishment.
Been coming to this place for 5+ years, and although the food mostly satisfies, the service has been lacking like none other. The servers are not very attentive and always seem to be in a bad mood, even rolling their eyes when I would ask for extra pickled veggies on the side. Constantly on their phones and never checking in with us after being seated. We always feel rushed when we go in, even when we are well before closing time. Sad to say we may not go back, due to the lack of common hospitality.
We have been going to this place since it was at its old location. We have been traveling and couldn't wait to go back. I cannot believe how this once awesome favorite of ours has gone down pretty much across the board. We alway order the Combination noodle bowl and spring rolls. The spring roll rice wrap was chewy and not well made. They did not taste fresh at all. The combination bowl meat was good, but the lettuce and cucumber were old. The lettuce had slimy pieces, and the cucumber was soft. Service: She really just didn't seem to care. We had to ask other servers if we needed anything, and then she would come by. Cleanliness: The bathroom was just plain nasty and the soap didn't work. It's going to be a long time before we go back. We have always recommended this place but can no longer do so.
So. Pho was not good.. bean sprouts were brown. Broth was not there and what’s the deal with the sauce? The waitress had an AirPod in her ear.. there was no conversation. As I’m typing this I feel sick and violated. I only ate everything because I just hiked a mountain and was starving.
Unfortunately they close too early and we were close to closing time however they assured us this was fine before they sat us. Right after sitting down another waitress walked over to tell us they were closing soon. We felt rushed even after asking if it was too late to get a table. The service was non existent since they were busy vacuuming near the table we were seated at and one waitress had collected all the water pitchers which they normally use to refill glasses. The waitress walked by and sat the bill down right after the food was delivered which they were slow to collect when we were ready to leave.
