The ear piercing loud music grated my nerves. I'm guessing at a busier hour, it would become white noise. I was pointed to a table after I asked if the dining room was open because the server was across the room and seemed unwilling to come seat me. The service was efficient as far as I was given utensils, my drink was provided, and the food was delivered but lacked any warmth from the server. The Koshi Age (Scallops) was delicious, the batter perfectly seasoned and crispy without being scorched. The dipping sauce was a perfect compliment. The sushi, the sweetheart, and the rainbow rolls were bland. Not terrible, not particularly good. I was annoyingly surprised that the sodas were $2.00 cans and came with no free refills. Overall, the experience didn't leave me wanting to come back.
I placed an online order through the “order now” option online under their website and showed them a “ready in 15 min” and a credit card charge for $35 and they claimed they never received my order and told me that “I can go” and told me to leave their restaurant.
Excellent sushi... didn't like how the waiter hovered over us. Wanted to take our order 30 seconds after we sat down. Otherwise, food was good and prepared quickly.
Worst service ever, but delicious food. And ruined my birthday!
So fresh and consistent every time. The rolls are delicious. My favorite thing about this restaurant is the owner. She is so kind and has the most impressive memory.
