Corner Cafe - Parkersburg

The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and everything was just perfect! Our server was very pleasant and clearly knew her stuff. We’ll definitely be returning for breakfast!

The food is exactly what you’d expect from a hometown café—reliable and delicious! Many may not have heard of it since they don’t do much advertising, but they don’t need to; the loyal customer base speaks for itself. Here, you can confidently order "over medium eggs," and they'll prepare them just right every time. Their BLTs are outstanding, and their homemade cakes are simply amazing. Be sure to pay attention to the specials, as each one truly lives up to its name. On our visit for breakfast today, everything was perfect as usual, and everything arrived quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend the loaded potatoes! I've included pictures of the café's hours as well as the menu. Plus, I captured some images of the building and its fascinating historical development—such a cool place!

I've been eating there for years a few times a week. It's one of my favorite places in Parkersburg. My favorite is the meat jam, but the tomato soup and grilled cheese are a tight second. The cake is also great. Most things in the menu are 7-10 dollars. It usually takes about 10 minutes to get your food. I strongly recommend the corner café for every Downtown Parkersburg on Monday:
