The manaeesh (manakish) were baked while we waited and were delivered to our table piping hot. The owner was genuinely pleased when we thanked him for our breakfast. He clearly took great pride in his bakery products. A wide range of manaeesh and pizzas were available at very reasonable prices.
For $2 you can get an oregano pizza (Lebanese pizza). Always made fresh, hot and quick. I go at least one a week for lunch.
A bit out of the way but a hidden gem! You have to go around the corner (near the also amazing Cake Mania) but it is worth it for a different breakfast/lunch. I got hooked on the za ataar bread recently- so good as a wrap with labne and salad or just on its own. A lot of carbs but a lot of flavour, all fresh and soft and chewy. Its not expensive either- Lebanese pizzas are not the same as Italian ones and they are more like street food (street food that is actually priced as an impulse buy snack and not priced just slightly lower than a sit down meal). You would never find this place if you didn't look but that is appealing in itself.
I had the pepperoni pizza which didn't taste the best, while the flavour wasn't terrible, the pepperoni couldn't be tasted and the cheese didn't taste right.
Great value for money and good variety of toppings. Pizzas are fresh and tasty. I like the pizza base the best.
