As we walked around I noticed a door that led into another room. Being nosey, I stuck my head in and noticed a line of people. Then I hear se acabó el chivo (the goat is done! . Mind you, it 's not even 11am yet. Now my interest is piqued. I know what 's happening here. Smell of tasty food (check . Lines (check . Sold out early (check . I ask what time they open and the gentleman replies 5:30 Saturday and Sunday only! CHECK! fast forward a week. Lengua (tongue and carnitas (pork are already sold out. We get the chivo tacos and take a seat in the back room. The give you all the fixins you may want (lime, cilantro, onions, pickled chilis, salsas . These were bomb! Tender as can be, flavorful, and not skimpy on the meat. The condiments are a choice. Not a necessity. There is a taco line and a line to buy by the pound. Just go. ENJOY!!!
Best Barbacoa (goat) and Carnitas (pork) in the area. If you like consomé (spicy goat soup w/rice) or blood sausage tacos go before 10am, they open around 5-6am.. ...Handmade tortilla with their own artisan hot sauce or pickled jalapeños are a must for their juicy succulent tacos. Picnic style seating with great Mexican folklore music..
Excelente servicio y deliciosa la comida gracias por atender al cliente
This place is PACKED on the weekends and for a good reason. The barbacoa de chivo is ridiculously delicious. My family and I are huge fans of this place, especially on weekend mornings. You better put your alarm on because if not then you'll miss out. It has happened to us that we're in line waiting and all of a sudden they're sold out. Truly a heartbreaking moment.
