Selena Bakery - Passaic

The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of traditional Mexican pastries. The customer service could be improved as there is a lack of greeting or guidance for unfamiliar customers.

It was my first time coming to this bakery, and there’s a lot of options to choose from. However, the tres leches cake was dry. The top part of the cake was super dry and the bottom barely any tres leches. Also, the lady who was charging me gave me the incorrect changed. She either overcharged me for the tres leches or she can’t count her change.

I asked for the croissant and they sold me round bread because I don't know Spanish . ok but it was not bad if you eat as a piece of bread.You can pick backed items in a tray and take it to the counter!!! I figured it out myself ?Average store with may bakery itemsCoffee is basic also nothing exciting.

I enjoy the selection of sweet bread and tamales at this restaurant.

Our daughter's birthday cake was ruined by the restaurant staff and now we have to fix it ourselves. Despite my husband clearly explaining our request in Spanish and sending a reference picture to avoid any confusion, the woman still got it wrong. We are very disappointed and will not be returning. We will take our business elsewhere where they are more organized and efficient.
