The atmosphere is very relaxing, the staff very friendly and attentive, but most of all the food is wonderful. Fresh ingredients and flavor enhancing recipes and cooking set this location way above your average small seafood restaurant. Its the wonderful food and menu that will bring us back again soon.
It has been since before the shutdowns of the pandemic that my husband and I last dined at The Georgia Shrimp Company. Our experience then and now continue to exceed any expectations we had. The food and presentation was superb along with excellent customer service. Food was served at the right temperature and the appetizers were served far enough ahead of our entrees whereas we had time to enjoy them without being rushed. My reservation was accepted as we were about 10 minutes early. There was no delay in seating us quickly. Highly recommend this dining experience.
OMG!!! This cozy restaurant truly surprised me. In a shopping center I did not expect a top tier visit. From the door, to the table, to being served, to the food being eaten, to exiting. Sooooo accommodating to be made to feel like you were the only patron there. Brenda our greeter is such an overall joy as soon as you enter. Brenda yes you did that and I truly appreciate your humility. Amanda our server made the transition from Brenda's gentle touch to her very own loving care and concern to serve her guests. I'm from New York so this restaurant was recommended to me. I truly will travel back to Peachtree City when in Atlanta for their standards are definitely a 5 star restaurant
The food is amazing, and so are the drinks! Be careful, they are that good.
I ordered gumbo, clam chowder, bread service, Caesar salad, and shrimp and scallop linguine for take out on a Thursday at 6:00. I was greeted at the door and my order was ready 5 minutes earlier than expected. The food was fine to good. My least favorite was the gumbo. The sauce tasted similar to the sauce in a can of ravioli. The clam chowder was mildly better. Didn't care for the chunks of potato. The Caesar salad was basic. The rolls were good. The most enjoyable bite was the scallops in the shrimp and scallop linguini. I didn't care for the sauce on the noodles. It was too thick with a forgettable flavor. Totally lacked spice! The entire meal was so uneventful that I do not recommend Georgia Shrimp Co.
