At home. The garlic paranthas were also descent. The masala tea at the end was great as well,. perfect to finish off a great dinner on a cold and rainy day. Overall, a great little eatery and while the starters were. a bit of a dampener, I believe the mains were far too good to be true. Trust. me, if I had the chance Id go back to Canberra, just to have the goat curry
Cannot fault this little Fijian gem. On a recommendation, we were able to sneak in there with the last table of the night. Tip: book ahead! Beautiful rolled pumpkin roti and potato and pea roti. Lovely tamarin sauce. Fantastic. We then shared 4 curries: goat, lamb rogan josh, chicken madras and a beef ball kofta. Absolutely brilliant. Service was cheerful and attentive. Get there.
Rama’s is an old timer and extremely popular with locals. Part of their secret is Mini’s warm hospitality, but the food is also great!. Sit outside in the warm weather…. …or be cozy inside if it’s cool. Good choices are…. Chicken Dhai Wala – Boneless chicken pieces cooked in a spiced yoghurt sauce. $23.00
If I could give a higher score I would. I have been coming to Rama's since I was small and now that I don't live in Canberra I have to make my pilgrimage for the best Indian in town. Hard to pick my standout dishes as they are all excellent but can never go past the goat curry, pumpkin coconut Roti, prawn saabji, vegetable korma and beef vindaloo. I love this place! Amazing customer service from Mini and the girls.
