Happy Larry's - Perth

If you love chocolate and ice cream this is the place to be! Wonderful choice of flavours and a good range of toppings available. Be patient if there's a queue, The crepes are freshly made to order and well worth the wait. If you don't get a plate/tray take a couple of extra serviettes, it can get messy!

I am a fan of great coffee, and this café, located in the new City of Perth Library lobby, serves exceptional coffee. While they used to offer a menu with interesting sandwiches, the chef mentioned that they had to remove it because it wasn't popular. As a result, the available food is displayed, and the selection changes daily. I tried the fresh crab sandwich (I usually avoid crab), and it was fantastic - incredibly fresh and flavorful. One member of our group has a gluten intolerance and was limited to raw balls, but the chef, Joel, offered to create a dish for her, although it would take some time. We ended up chatting for longer than planned and even had another round of coffee. Just before we left, Chef surprised the gluten intolerant member with a complimentary white chocolate and berry cake straight out of the oven. This café is a hidden gem, with excellent service from the waitstaff. I will definitely be returning here frequently.

I bought a Groupon voucher to try out Happy Larry's Chocolate Kebab Shop. Before heading over, I decided to check their opening hours which were listed as 6pm. However, when I arrived at 5:10pm, the restaurant was already open.

The kebabs at this restaurant are delicious! The owner, who works there, personally serves each customer, one at a time, but doesn't waste any time in doing so.
