It has a good selection with some unusual choices such as lamb feet, hamburgers and wild boar. Prices are not bad, not increased... like some tourist cities. Service is fast. It is not as friendly as some of the other French cities. The food is very good.
We eat here regularly when sitting in the beautiful village of Peyriac. outside on the square is a real pleasure and so romantic! Food is always from a high standard, not imagination fine food, but good sound French Bistro-Tarife. Specialties at lunch are...good value as the fish and the mouth. Good choice of very cheap local wine, usually organic. Service can be fun when you get to know the staff. The booking is a must at holiday times. On Sunday evening you can't book a table in summer when a group is playing from 6-8 o'clock and tapas is served.
Although the restaurant was closed because of Covid, we were able to propose Jan and Feb meals during December. All meals we had were excellent and delicious. Thank you, David and Christelle, we are happy to see you when... we return to Peyriac
Visited twice, in June and July. The seafood is exceptionally good. Lovely position on the old square. Be sure to book as it's really popular.
