Monsoon (soi 8) - Phra Pradaeng

The western food here is fantastic; like a small piece at home (from NYC). So far I have tried Monsoon Burger, Capricciosa Pizza and Chicken Fajitas. The big burger, Pommes and Coleslaw was made in the North American way, the pizza is Napolese style as in Little Italy, and the Fajitas similar to in South Kaliba.

I came to dinner with my mom and uncle last night. Lived place with many locals. Nice atmosphere. We ordered to share the fried Calamari, 2 ducks 2 ways and a bbq ribs. The Kalamari was good. Fresh, hot and delicious. When the main food arrived, they were close to a duck. The waiter only orders us one if we wanted two. The food was good and tasty, but my uncle dies the duck, because my mother and I have finished eating and haven't even come out yet. Not good. I'd go back for dinner. Make sure your waiter knows exactly what you ordered.

This is a great place for a beer, a meal or just a coffee. In the evening it is nice to sit outside and watch what happens on the soi. During the heat of the day, inside, you still have a good look. The staff is very friendly. The food is fantastic. One morning, I really only dived for a cappuccino, but the pancakes with fruit and they were fantastic.

The western food here is on par with the fanciest hotels (duck in picture). Perfect every single time!
