The Inn At Lake On The Mountain

We dined there on Friday night at 6 PM with a reservation, and I highly recommend making one, as many guests were turned away and had to return later due to full bookings. We ordered the Pan Seared Trout and the fresh Rigatoni. Initially, the trout was returned because it was barely warm, but the replacement was served hot and delicious. The fresh Rigatoni with spicy sausage quickly became a new favorite of mine. For dessert, we enjoyed a delightful dish baked in maple syrup, accompanied by vanilla ice cream. The service was excellent and very friendly. It's a pity they're closed in the winter, as it would be such a cozy spot to enjoy a meal by the fire.

10/10—do yourself a favor and take the drive; you won’t regret it. Despite being short-staffed, the service was outstanding, and the food was even better. The honeypea butter served with warm bread is a must-try starter for the table, and the Bruschetta was incredibly fresh. The braided beef was delicious and practically fell off the bone, while the Rigatoni was more authentically Italian than the restaurant next door. This place gets quite busy, so be sure to arrive early and make a reservation. We will definitely be returning!

Delicious! These are the best beef short ribs I've ever had in any restaurant. The location is great, and the staff is friendly and professional. Be sure to make a reservation!

On holiday in the area stopped for lunch, the first thing that got my attention was the fantastic smell of a burning fireplace when we came out of our vehicle. I ordered the Inn Poutine and a Lake On the Mountain Brewing Co. Cream Ale beer. The poutin was not disappointed and the beer was great! Waiters were quick and friendly.

It?s was a lovely spot to have a quick bite and a cold drink. White bean soup and Asian veg salad pretty good, bruschetta okay. Settling by the lake, with a cool breeze.
