First Watch - Pikesville

The restaurant is good overall, but I wasn't a fan of the side dishes. I ordered the lemon cheese pancakes, but I couldn't taste the cheese that was supposedly mixed into the dough. The portion sizes were large and the pancakes were delicious. However, I found the tomato bisque soup tasted more like spaghetti sauce, and the cheesy gänse dish tasted like geese with melted cheese on top. I was not impressed with these dishes. The hot chocolate was good, but the chocolate syrup spilled on the side of the cup and on the table. The drink was very sweet and had unmixed syrup at the bottom. The staff were friendly.

Visiting First Watch is always a pleasure. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. The only issue we had this time was waiting for my husband's meal. My food was fresh and hot when it arrived, but his took 15 minutes and was just warm. It was particularly busy that day, which may have been the reason for the delay. Overall, it's a great spot for breakfast and lunch. I would recommend it.
