Martorano's Prime - Pittsburgh

Extremely disappointed in the experience. Our servers did their best to make the experience a good one however the food ruined it. Was in town for a football game and wanted to have a nice dinner afterwards. My party had the chicken parmesan, the veal piccata, risotto and gnocchi. There was barely any red sauce on the parm and the su e the was there tasted like steamed tomatoes with no seasoning whatsoever. The same for the gnocchi in the cream sauce there was no flavor and the gnocchi were over cooked and gummy. The veal was overly salted due to the capers and there was an over abundance of cropped parsley sprinkled across the top. The best part of the meal was the risotto, which was the only thing that had any flavor to it. It was a good texture and was reminiscent of how my nonna would prepare risotto. The bread that was brought to the table with the dipping oils was also a nice part of the meal. Overall I felt like the price of the ‘experience’ was extremely disappointing. For the future I will stick with other food options within the casino like the Wheelhouse, which actually deliver on what is expected.

Dinner was excellent. Many choices, and the staff was all very kind and attentive. We will definitely go back.

45 minutes for a cold crab appetizer and 65 minutes for the meals. They said they lost the order ticket. Place was empty with a full kitchen. Food was good and they bought the meals and drinks so that was appreciated after their mistake. Gnocchi and halibut were excellent.

Food was fair previous times . Service has been better in past

Unfortunately, my wife’s steak was medium well done and she asked for it medium rare, but did not want to complain because we did not want to wait for another one to be made. My meal, which was the special with crab and shrimp over linguine, was very bland, it needed some cheese maybe hot pepper seeds some kind of seasoning. The stuffed hot peppers were great as was the spinach and Keylime cheesecake. The service was also excellent.
