Steak 'n Shake - Plano

On 01/05/23 a friend and I decided to try something new. We drove 30 minutes to this place to discover some of the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. When the MANAGER broke out our shaking from this place, he spilled one. Chocolate flakes went over the counter. The whipped cream touched the counter. The counter wasn't clean either. Instead of making another shake, the MANAGER cleanses the counter and tries to give us the shake he had just spilled on the counter. HIGHLY UNSANITIES. Then when my friend asked for a new shake, because we have witnesses what he had done, the MANAGER gives her an attitude. When the MANAGER pulled out the shake, he had the same cover. She threw the shake in the garbage and told me. Not only did the MANAGER ruin the whole experience, but we will never visit another steak and shake again. The MANAGER must focus on its food safety training and customer service skills. And yes, I will warn everyone I know not to go.

The Lord in the Drive-Thru was very nice and attentive. The Frisco Melt ordered and they did it on the red sauce and they did not season the meat patents at all and the chili cheeseries had no taste. The food was not the greatest.

I made 3 surveys with 3 different entrances, so I had 3 free Shakes Coupons. The manager wouldn't honor all three. He gave me only 2 and threw away my receipt for the second, so I couldn't fill out another survey. He was very rude and also the employees. I hate this steak n shake.

I wasn't here in about 2yrs and it definitely changed and not for the better. The main reason for my visit was Side by Side Shake, but they don't do that anymore. Also it was very impersonal, you put your order on a big kiosk that is not bad, but no interaction with the staff. The food was meh. Idk when I was back. Food: 3/5

Definitely not like it used to be. Staff did not greet us and other customers at all. Orders are done through a computer. Food came out quick though. The menu no longer includes options such as the chicken strips. The dining area looked very sad. My kids were huge fans of Steak N Shake and left disappointed as did I.
