Axiote Cocina de Mexico

The service was incredibly slow while eating was good, one of our dishes was not properly cooked and not in the position to eat, fortunately they removed it from our bill. I would not recommend this place until they repair their service and quality control.

Incredibly amateurish taste combinations and presentation characterize eating at axiote. our fish tacos came out with blackworst; the fish would have been impossible to taste through the sausages, but as it had a fishy, pampering taste, we could say it was in. the pork bell tacos (otherwise not what we demanded) had large square pieces of pork bell with long thin discs of avocado in the tacos; the black narrowed like bad quality meat and the presentation seemed to be the work of a young child. the drinks were carefully crafted and well looked out, but largely unnoticed. the service was slow. eat much worse than they wait in a local taqueria for twice the price and a longer one.

Superb cuisine and great service and ambience This has to be the best meal we have had in Mexico and we have been traveling through the country for several days The lobster, red snapper and black noodles with octopus was outstanding. For appetizer we really...enjoyed the pumpkin seed dip. The chocolate cake with orange was distinctive with a nutty texture and not too sweet Xavier Perez Stone Head Chef and owner is very gracious and accessible Unmissable cuisine experience in the town or Playa Del Carmen not far from Cancun. Worth the drive from Cancun

We went to Axiote because of the great reviews we’ve found in TA. It was an amazing dinning experience, from the place setting, the friendly staff, fantastic drinks to the excellent food. We had bone marrow as an appetizer my wife tried the tacos de...cochinilla pibil and our son and I the fantastic tacos de Birria. The sauces were perfectly described by our waiter so we wouldn’t have “hot” surprises, they were amazing . It was the best dinner we had while we were in PDC. We will come back to dine again in this wonderful restaurant.

Confieso que dudaba al principio , sobre si elegir este lugar , pues el menu si es muy sabroso , me parecio un poco confuso al principio.No me arrepenti , los tacos de pato en mi opnion son los mejores , Deliciosos.las salsas que te ofrecen son muy ricas , las aguas , el postre y buñuelo.Visitenlo no se van a arrepentir.Felicidades!!!
