Very average if not below average buffet experience. We arrived soon after the store opened at 11 am. We tried a variety of items. Oddly enough nothing was very hot or fresh tasting. Most of the appetizers were room temperature or only slightly warm. The spring rolls tasted strongly of cabbage and were mushy in texture. Egg rolls were not crispy but did have meat and vegetables inside. The gyoza (steamed dumplings) were tasty though and I liked the sauce, though my partner did not. Crab rangoons were okay. Chicken drumlets were tough and dry. The chicken skewers (appetizer) seemed to be deep fried and were dry. The egg drop soup was not good. Hot and sour was better but it was also not great. Soups were very hot, which was nice. Entrees were a mixed bag. The salmon was very good. I also enjoyed the seafood with vegetables and lo mein, though the lo mein was basically just noodles with barely any vegetables. I tried the beef and vegetables, and it had a slightly spicy flavor which was good. One of the chicken dishes was so tough and hard I couldn’t eat it. I had a a few bites of fruit for dessert but there were also some cakes and several flavors of ice cream. The place was clean. The music was terrible. It was an odd type of Asian electronic music that reminded me of music that might be used for circus performances. Service was okay but we had to ask for water refills. The waitress did remove empty dishes quickly. Overall it was a decent lunch but for what it was, the price was high. Lunch was $13. I don’t know if a beverage was included or not because we always drink water.
Food (chicken) sits in watered-down pans. Service was slow. They walk right past your table and ignore when you want a refill on your drink, AND then you only get 1/2 a glass full.
An absolute hidden gem located in Plymouth, Wisconsin. On a resent trip back to Fond Du Lac from Sheboygan, my wife and I decided to stop at a Chinese buffet restaurant for supper. From the moment we entered to the moment we left all the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Food, Atmosphere, Service ambiance was the best that I’ve have experienced in a long time. Hidden from highway 23 you would never know that this place was there.
Kid-friendliness: The food is top of line. Staff is friendly and quick at their job. Very seldom do empty trays stay for Very long.
