Halfway Fish - Poole

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The portions were very generous and the staff was extremely polite. The place was very clean and I found it to be a great value for the price.

Had the haddock, fish was OK but the batter was like concrete. My partner ordered a saveloy which was cold, infact this is the 2nd time we've had a cold saveloy from here. Chips OK

Great Fish Chips, fresh perfectly cooked cod, lightly battered if asked for, good portions of chips also perfectly cooked, a very popular fish chip shop with friendly positive service

This is by far the best fish and chips I've tasted in my entire life and that's no exaggeration. I found this chippy by chance on my way home from a breakaway, when I returned for another break I couldn't find it. Thank goodness for online banking, I searched that and hey presto, there was the halfway fish bar to which I made a few more visits to. A little expensive, but when something tastes that good, it's well worth the extra cost

I visited this restaurant on Thursday and was impressed by the friendly and polite service. The fish and chips were delicious and my husband enjoyed his sausage, pea fritter, and chips. I highly recommend stopping by this place if you are in the area. A1!
