Jake's Place Restaurant - PORT LORING

So we're staying with our niece and nephew near Arnstein and we popped here for breakfast one morning.. We all had something different, and we all tried our best to clear our plates but none of us could manage as the portions were really big!...Both the food and service was wonderful.. We'll definitely go back when we're next visiting this area

Family type restaurant, not fancy, very basic. Service very friendly, quick and efficient. straight forward and simple menu, you're up north so have to try pickeral. downside is opening hours, don't expect a late evening dinner.

Very comfortable everyone was so nice and we enjoyed dinner and breakfast the next day and left full .

Love the casual atmosphere. Friendly staff and always with a smile. Service was quick! Food was delicious! Great spot and you can take a nice walk around the lake to burn off those yummy calories!

We wanted to go for Friday evening dinner - 7pm. But the restaurant was closed, with a big FOR SALE sign in the front window. We were very disappointed and ate at the only other option near by. The next morning, we went to the Hardware store and noticed that Jake's was definitely open. Odd. Mixed messages here.
