I had the special, blackened tuna tacos with street corn. Delicious. Try the vera cruz tacos made with grouper. Great prices and terrific food. Small place but cozy and intimate.
Awesome hidden gem of downtown Wilmington. Prices are near impossible to beat for the area, ingredients taste fresh, chips are fried to order and come out piping hot and crunchy. The service is always friendly and quick despite it usually just being a team of two between the FOH and BOH. Small place with lots of takeout patrons but we have never had an issue getting a seat to dine in. Highly recommend the seared tuna tacos if they're on special!
Owner told me the salsa was spectacular... he must have no taste buds. The salsa tastes like tomato soup. Very bland. Couldn't eat more than one of the burnt chips. Edit: Right place, wrong owner. Salsa is just mashed tomatoes no other ingredients. I hope they taste their own salsa one day.
The quesadilla was to die for and the churros were mouth watering. The service was amazing!
