1927 S'mores Company - Portland

During my vacation in Portland, my husband and I stayed in a hotel close to this store. So, after dinner, we went there to try their famous s'more and we were happy about our choice. My husband tried the original, while I ate one seasonal with chocolate and jam. Mine was very good (maybe the only thing I can say there was more jam than chocolate). It's also nice to watch while they're doing the s'mores.

My friends and I were walking through downtown Portland and we stumbled across this place and were so excited to go! I've never seen a place that specializes in only s'mores so I knew I had to go and check it out. The line was coming out of the store! The people who work there make the s'mores right in front of you, so not only are you getting a s'more, but you're getting a show with it! The store itself was a bit small: there isn't a lot of seating inside. The line moved pretty quickly though and soon it was our turn to order. The s'mores are pretty big, and out of my friends only one of us likes sweets. We decided to get one s'more to share, and we got the Bourbon Peach Cobbler! The best part about this place was they have vegan marshmallows too which was amazing since my friend and I are both vegetarian. The peach compote with the bourbon marshmallow was so good, both flavors went so well together. I'm giving this place a 4/5 stars only because I thought the s'more was just a bit too sweet for my liking, but I'm sure if we went with another s'more it might've not been that sweet

Amazing! The staff were super friendly and greeted us as we walked in. They were helpful in providing recommendations and gave us some cool background of the company's start and such. I ended up getting the s'mores parfait. Amazing!!! The choice of Graham cracker crumb flavor (chocolate, honey, or pumpkin- I chose chocolate), chocolate mouse, and a GOB of marshmallow fluff that gets torched. So good!! The vibe of the store is super cute and camp-esque. Enough seating for 3-4 people.
