East Side Deli Hawthorne - Portland

Was great savior when I discovered it for me and children. Personally, my first reuben sandwich was so perfect that I've been trying to experience it again for 3 years, but without too avail. It has been a bit tiresome trying to try so many other sandwich varieties that no longer attract me completely. Nevertheless, a go-to for fresh veggies and really friendly, cool people working there.

My sandwich was delicious. You need to order online what I don't love. There was no good place to wait for your food when you go to order. The staff was perfunctory friendly and neither the app nor the staff told us that our food was ready, so we have waited an additional 10 minutes or so unnecessarily.

We love a good sandwich, Eastside doesn't disappoint. Not only their sandwich options amazing, the salads are also the bomb! It's just out, so be ready to find a nice place for a picnic at Mt Tabor or enjoy at home. We went out of the way here.

I highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys a quality sub sandwich. The smell alone had me salivating the moment I walked through the door. I was extremely satisfied with my sandwich (I built my own). Come check this place out if you've got a powerful hunger. This place will get you that fix.

I ordered a lot of sandwiches here over the years. The price has increased quite a lot, but at least the sandwich size has not decreased. There is only a vegan sandwich on the menu, so I always build my own. I like the Tofurky smoked ham slices, but it would be nice to have other options. They are very generous with ingredients, but I wish the vegetables were organic.
