I ordered the hangar steak and half of the Tagliatelle. The steak was perfect and so was the Tagliatelle with beef and pork ragu. That would definitely recommend. My wife took the **** with one side of Laeks with butter and Parmesan. That was pretty good. The only negative and among things to improve was the service timing. Everything, but the pages were served and that took a very long time. (I finished my dinner when her side came). Otherwise it would have been a 5 star of me.
Nice place with fresh pastas, friendly intimate/dimly lit Vibe would be a good place for a date night. Terrace tables with heating available. I liked our server very much, but don't remember their name, they seemed fun. My friend and I shared everything, I think it's great that they offer smaller portions of pasta when you? You can get several courses to share for the table or if you eat yourself not too much food: we have the lemon ricotta raviolis and the Corzetti Pesto. I liked the Korsetti but both were good! The cheese table was good for the price, but I think the Foccacia (not shown was much better than the bread that the cheese board brought along. just what I wished better was more non-alcoholic drinks options. I understand it is a wine heavy environment, but it would be fun, mocktails or aromatized sparkling waters or something. I just finished with tap water, this is never really my choice when an increased experience. altogether I would still be happy here
The staff is friendly, friendly and knowledgeable. I had the radiators with lamb and it was comforting and delicious. We asked the server for wine recommendations and were very impressed. The Panacotta was also perfect. I?d recommend the cabbage and the chicken liver pâté as appetizers.
We came by a Friday night shortly after 6:00 and immediately got a table. I got a great wine recommendation from our server and we were good for the whole meal. The food was incredible, but the beating was the tomato focaccia!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this place! WOW! So blown away. This is perhaps the best meal I've had in YEARS. Everything was incredible- we had the chicken liver mousse, three different pastas, and one of the salads. I don't really have words for how delicious, well-crafted, and high quality the food was. That, plus a great bottle of wine recommended by our server, and the final price for dinner was very reasonable. If you're in Portland and love Italian food, this is THE spot.
