Olive Cafe - Portland

We had a nice dinner here! it was a nice change of all seafood we have eaten in the last days. the hummus was delicious like the chicken lamb cabobs.

We stopped here on a Friday night and were delighted that they had seating immediately available. The food was absolutely fabulous! There were 3 of us and we shared the tabbouleh, the Mediterranean sampler platter and the Mediterranean veggie pizza (with the white sauce). My mother thought the falafels were the best she?d ever had. I especially loved the fried cauliflower and the veggie pizza was absolutely divine. (Definitely try the white sauce if you like garlic). The server was friendly and helpful. We appreciated his enthusiasm as he advised us on our choices. Go with an empty stomach and an adventurous palate. You will NOT be disappointed.

Food was good and the place was clean. However, the service was very slow. The restaurant seemed understaffed.

Great authentic Lebanese food. My favorite go to place when I miss food from home. The chicken shawarma sandich is the best. The owner provides great service. A gem in Portland. Highly highly recommended.
