Teote House Cafe - Portland

The restaurant has a sign indicating that they are closed for good.

Teote is wonderful, but there is a notice posted on the door as of 8/14 from the landlord stating that they have been evicted. The current situation is unclear. We hope for a swift resolution!

I really like the food at this restaurant and appreciate that I don't have to worry about finding gluten-free options. However, in the past 6 attempts, I have found that the restaurant has been closed each time. Whether it's showing up to a closed sign on the door or checking Google early in the day only to have their hours change later on, I'm beginning to feel like I may never get the opportunity to eat here again.

I liked the food I had here, and it was so obviously popular place. The vegan glaze and sauce was amazing I never had anything like it

There is an option on the menu that is a vegan bowl, but vegan pages that could create a meal. You have a full bar both up and down. The cashier also mixed drinks, but after dealing with money lime pressed into drinks without washing their hands between customs. There are limited parking spaces in an area that has homeless tents on the walkway, graffiti and garbage that need to be picked up. Put your valuables out of your eyes when you become long. There is a fire pit, bar and additional seating on the upper floor, but if you want a plant-based, vegan experience, this is not the place.
