The Knock Back - Portland

Great food and cocktails. The staff were extremely respectful of my food intolerances even bringing sauce from the back so I could double check the label. I really appreciate the extra effort they took to cook my food in an clean pan. It isn't often I can eat out without feeling sick. Really cool spot with great staff!

A great place for drinks and a bite. Had the TKB chicken slider and the pulled pork slider. Both were amazing. To drink, I had one of the specialty cocktails an interesting combination of whiskey, berries, and spices that was refreshing and kinda weird, but not bad. Prices were pretty standard for a bar, but well worth it.

I initially wasn't really in the mood for anything The Knock Back had when I went here (we had first attempted to go to Aviary so that was my mindset), although I had The Other Fried Chicken slider and the fries and both were delicious. There was a generous amount of fries with three kinds of dipping sauces. My dining companions were also very happy with their sliders and the fried brussels sprouts with bacon (which was also a plentiful portion). The waitstaff was great, and the music was a little loud. I would've like to see a little more diversity for the offered options at the time it seemed like each slider sounded similar to the others offered.

Good beer list, a lot of bourbon and a nice selection of house cocktails. Food looks good but haven't tried it. Large outside setting area with fire pits to keep warm. Nice crowd, easy going with good music.

Great drinks, they even got some frozen drinks which I especially enjoyed during the summer sitting next to the fire. Review is only for drinks and quick service, I have still yet to try food here.
