The Rockin' Crab Boiling Pot - Portland

One day we just choose this place while we drove all the way from Kennewick WA to Portland Oregon and we found a delicious tasty crab right there. One of the Asian waitress look like a little rude on her face but anyway, we enjoyed the food at the end.

Hands down best seafood boil place in Portland, fast and friendly service.

Always wanted to try this place since I go eat at O-Sushi's AYCE frequently and Rockin' Crab is just next door. Immediately upon entering, I love the environment. It has a nice dim woody atomosphere, setting itself apart from most restaurants already. They also have a neat wooden board beside each table where you can write your name down. So for food we ordered Tom Yum Pot, Chicken Wings, and then the seafood. The Hot Pot in my opinion wasn't worth getting. It came with very little meat and mostly vegetables, nothing special. The chicken wings are standard fried wings tossed in sauce. Now the Seafood bag we got were clams, mussels, and shrimp. THIS sauce mix was probably the best crab and bag seasoning I ever had. It came with such a distinct and aromic flavor I never had before. This is the only thing I would ever come back for, nothing else is special. Service was standard as well, so overall a happy experience and will come back.

Food was delicious people there are super nice and explained. Their menu if you to help if you have never been to a Cajun boil place. They even have small entrees that you can try out cajun boils. Before you commit to a large boil.

Wonderful pot of ocean food dumped on a parchment sheet in the center of the table...eaten with your fingers. Customers are given bibs and gloves. Delicious and engaging with the food in ways we mostly don't do in Western culture.
