I had the tataki (especially in the night) with red fruits. and beetroot sorbet as starter. wow! some had foie gras and others the tortelli. also good, but not as demanding as the tataki. mains was a sea stream ‘Mosaik’ with a monk liver. also excellent. others had the kalbs (coated with tinted fish) and the pigeon made 2 away. excellent firm and definitely recommended. only on the bottom was a slow (very friendly) service and the own glass wein or water to fill is not acceptable at this level. the personal was also the reception in the hotel. That may explain.
This is definitely a treat with a gourmet menu worth the detour. The view over the sea and Italy makes this an ideal dinner.
This restaurant is actually called La Table de Mina and is located in the Bergeries de Palombaggia Resort. We tried this restaurant when we were at the hotel during our honeymoon, we sat there for 3 nights. The food... is absolutely amazing to combine very high-quality corsican meat and produce with Haute Cuisine invention, as the mixing of Tortare Corsican calf and oysters surprising as it sounds the result was delicious. The service is quite excellent, with a good knowledge of the restaurant wine list, and the overall experience is near a Michelin started restaurant, with sea views.
The chef prepares excellent food. It is worthy of a Michelin star. Very tasty, very nicely presented, and a great variety.
The food is good prepared with lots of descriptions and nice presentation. But the taste itself is just on average. It's like the hotel, the price overvaluated.
