Fish n Chix - Powell River

Clearly a lack of hygiene, found a strand of hair in my batter. Overpriced for what you get. small portions as someone else mentioned . Noisy

Fish and chips were good! Fries were good. Portion size was offensive. 2 piece fish was more like one piece cut in 2. Poutine was a marbled cheddar drowned in gravy. I look forward to real cheese curds and not floating in gravy. Server was kind of stunned and lost. Never smiled and looked like she hated her job. Yelling to the cook from the cash register that they got tips and how much. servers like this in Powell River are common and have no people or server skills.

Building is older and not to up to date. .but don't let that sway you from stopping in here! Everything is delicious! Good serving size. Kind of a homey feel to it. Enjoy!

This local restaurant serves great fish and chips and also has an ice cream cooler. Their chips are excellent as is the fish
