She told me that everyone, including the staff and customers, were very kind to her. I wanted to thank the store on behalf of my mother and her family, but unfortunately, they do not have a local contact number. I plan to visit in person later this week, but until then, I want to commend Welshpool for the excellent first aid provided by Alison and for the attentive care they showed to my mother.
I decided to order the lunch menu, which included soup and a ciabatta roll. However, when I went to the cash register to place my order, I was informed that they were out of rolls and offered a slice of white bread instead. I noticed that they had rolls on display in the bakery section, but was told they were not available. I settled for the white bread, asked for it to be toasted, and waited patiently. Eventually, I was served half a bowl of soup and a slice of white bread. I returned the bread and reiterated my order, feeling embarrassed as three staff members stared at me and whispered amongst themselves. In the end, I ate the soup without any bread and left the restaurant feeling humiliated. I have no plans to return.
We stopped by for lunch on a rainy day. It was quiet when we placed our order, but it took nearly forty minutes for our food to arrive. The dishes were hot and well-prepared. The quality was good, but it seemed like the portions were smaller than our previous visit, with a higher price. The cafe was clean and the staff were friendly. Overall, it was a pleasant experience in a laid-back setting, although the long wait time was a bit disappointing, especially if you're in a hurry. We'll visit again when in Welshpool and not pressed for time.
Not very busy but waiting over 10 minutes to be served for a coffee decided to go elsewhere, just kept walking past behind the counter without any acknowledgement at all , need to learn some people skills
I have never been in Morrison's cafe in all the years I've lived in Welshpool. My partner and I ordered two big breakfasts, visually they looked ok, the only things on my breakfast that was edible were the poached egg, grilled tomato and the beans, the hash browns, sausages and fried bread had been cooked in old dirty oil, they tasted acrid. The tinned sliced mushrooms were cold and the bacon had barely seen a grill... I will not be visiting again
