This is a super place. Food is gorgeous and the owner is so friendly. Many other places could learn a lot! Oh did I forget to mention, dog friendly too, you and your faithful friend are very welcome.
Yummy variety of Welsh rarebit ... I can't resist the Spanish one. Delicious salads and the best flat white for miles.
A warm welcome from Rose (Chef) John (Artisan Baker) and a delicious lunch in this converted old school. The Ammanford-sourced coffee is really excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed Welsh, Irish Mexican rarebits with a selection of very tasty salads. The three of us shared a generous slice of marmalade sponge cake with cream to finish. We purchased baked-on-the-premises breads and croissants to take home.
We stayed for two nights in the village during our trip through Cornwall and Wales. The bread John bakes is a real treat, nowhere in the UK did we tast it better! Thanks for letting us in before opening hours to get it for our breakfast. It was a pity we did not have the chance to tast the coffee and other treats on the day we left. I hope the power is back on by now...
