Our first visit didn’t go well, and I called and spoke with Jack the manager. She, like the entire staff was friendly and professional, she was apologetic for our situation and she passed my number on to Michael, the GM, who contacted me promptly and completely corrected the situation. He exceeded our expectations and gave us the confidence that our first experience is not the way they do things. The ribs, brisket and sausage were fantastic! The collard greens and mashed potatoes were also very tasty. The smoked meatloaf is an absolute must try. I have been back multiple times and will revisit many more to come. Thank you Michael, Jack and staff!
This place is awesome! It is now our favorite BBQ joint in Prescott. Meat was cooked just right. Didnt have an overly smokey taste and was very moist. Their home made sauces were soo good too!. If you at here when it was a different name its still very similar. And the price was on point. Keep up the hard work State 48!
Great half rack and baked potato. Falling off the bone tender.I had the dry ribs and the spices were just right. Very handicap friendly. (Parking and entrance) Much appreciated in this town. Love the picnic tables.
Not sure about ask the hype of this place. Wife and I got two two meat plates brisket on both, pulled pork and pork ribs. Sides were, mash potatoes w gravy, mac and cheese, green beans and bbq beans. Ate outside, took they're sauce with us and tried everything. Brisket was dry, ribs were good but I was given end pieces that were dry. Pulled pork was good. Enjoyed their sedona sauce. 3 stars for food and 4 stars for service and environment.
