I arrived around 9 pm and they tell me there is no room and they are not honoring my reservation. To be fair, they sent an email that when I translated, seemed to be to confirm I am actually coming. I was traveling to Puebla so I couldn 't follow emails. My response to email was that i am coming. When i arrived they said the rooms were gone at.12:00 (noon). It was raining, I had a big suitcase, and the hotels are booked. Thankfully, I found a room outside of Puebla. Big waste of my time and money. Hotel did not offer any help. Expedia assured me in their emailsafter booking that I don 't have to worry . These are their usual emails and have given me confidence in the past that reservations are valid and honored.
It's well, you have the chance to drink free coffee :D (8/10). Not suitable for claustrophobic people.
The rooms with the balcony facing the street are really loud. But the rest was OK.
Great location, lovely staff, super clean rooms, nice showers (really hot water and great water pressure), lovely courtyard, and fabulous price. The beds were not the most comfortable ever, but certainly good enough. There was no heat or AC in the room, but the temperature was easy to regulate and comfortable when we were there. There was some noise from the street/ neighborhood dogs barking, but nothing a pair of earplugs couldn't handle. Would definitely recommend!
Great value accomodation in the heart of Puebla. Everything within walking distance, clean rooms, helpful staff and great balconies. Can be a bit loud with street noise, but at this price point, it is not an issue.
