While we visited the old harbour (malecon), we decided to stop and eat at lunchtime. there are many small restaurants in this opposite, mixed with all small souvenir shops, apotheques and fishing markets. almost all these places have people. come and call them to come and try their restorer. after a small friendly convince we went up to a place previously called el perico marinero, but is now mariscos el malecon. the waiter was very friendly and quickly took our drink order. we ordered a few beers (dos equis) and a few sex on the beach. we were quickly brought our drinks, along with chips and salsa. the beer was cold, and the drinks were refreshing, although a little light on alcohol. we ordered fischtacos, garnelentacos, an Enchilada plate and a whole fried fish. the food came quite fast and was enjoyed by all quickly. the garnelentacos were good, and the enchiladas had a very nice tasting. the fishtacos were average, but on the small side. the fried fish was a little overcooked, but still tasty. although eating was only average for puerto penasco, the good service and the great view on the sea from the table will try again this restaurant.
At present this was renamed el malecon. that was our first time, and we were not disappointed. we wish we had tried before when we visited often. we will definitely come back, I'm sure it will be one of our favorites. great breakfast and. choice of brunch, good view.
Food is amazing! I wanted ceviche but didn't see it on the menu so I asked and the sever said it'd be no problem. I had little expectations since it wasn't on the menu but it was unbelievable! We went back the next day. Piña...Coladas are a must have here!!!
First time here and I will be back! We had a server by the name of Manuel helping us out he suggested drinks good and strong) and when we asked for something light that we can all share he brought out the most delicious...Scallop Aguachile I have ever had. DELICIOUS! Prices were great $31 for 7 drinks, chips, salsa, guacamole aguachile) and the ocean breeze was awesome.
