P.S- my man is European and very picky about European cuisine: we come back!
We have been eating at coco tropical for ever. in this challenging year we prefer to eat outside, so coco 's was our place. as always, eating was excellent and always hot. heintz, the owner, is standing in the kitchen and inspects every meal before. it is served. because of his presentation several times I returned him to the kitchen. he is also constantly on his way to ask his customers how the dinner is.
We go there for happy hour good prices, food, and company. Owners are Rosie and Hienze great people also great bartender and staff. Faabien the bartender is the best
My husband and I went for dinner early to watch the sunset. We were seated without a reservation so that was good. The chairs were very uncomfortable. Maybe time to re upholster and put in better padding. The service was haphazard and very slow. The...food was just OK nothing memorable. I had Azteca soup ..ok, The Florentine salad came in a very tall cocktail glass that made it difficult to eat. It was overly dressed and not very appealing. The taste was OK. My husband had a spaghetti bolognese. The taste was Fine but seemed more like pasta with beef stew flavoured sauce. We were not overly hungry so the portions were fine. The menu prices a little high, the glass of house wine was expensive. All in all we were not impressed enough to return.
Great place for sunset and happy hours. Eat is good. service is very good, but it is about the sunset.
