Best Of British - Purbeck

We visited this restaurant two nights in a row because the pizzas were so delicious! They serve fresh chips, freshly made dough, generous portions, and all at a great price. There are plenty of options for vegans and gluten-free diets, including the bases which are store-bought to prevent cross-contamination. The pizzas were tasty and well done! The service was quick, clean, and friendly, and they were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. On our second visit, they even delivered our pizza to our home so we didn't have to wait with tired kids in the car. If you're looking for fresh, delicious pizza and friendly service, give this place a try! Highly recommended.

The restaurant offers excellent service, freshly cut fries, and delicious food. I highly recommend it. It is conveniently located near the train station, hidden just around the corner. You won't be disappointed.

I have slated this place on here before and they did go through a rough phase. Being local I’ve wanted to support them. They have got it together now. Some good staff who know their stuff. Lots of menu options. Doesn’t take too long even though cooked from fresh. It’s worth the visit.

All cooked fresh to order, only a 3-5 minute wait. Good value and good size portion. Tasted just like fish and chips....

This was a good fish and chip shop once but it has sadly gone down hill, the last time (and would be the last) the food was cold and greasy and had to wait 20 minutes even though they were not busy. Avoid!
