Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

Usually love going to Cafe Rio, fresh ingredients and great portion but I usually visit the Redlands location. Decided to try a new location, the girls who helped us were not very professional, both laughing the entire way down the food line, when I asked what stuff was and what comes on the salad bowl the response was “oh she’s new” with a giggle and another girl saying to shut up. I don’t mind new employees or taking your time but being attentive and listening is what I do mind. The food didn’t taste fresh and usually getting my chili salsa options in a cup she poured right over the bowl, burrito did not stay together and as soon as we picked it up to eat the tortilla would tear, the presentation overall was terrible. Dirty line and trash can areas.

Adios chipotle.. the price, quality, service and flavor for the win

We came in at 8:40ish, which for a Saturday isn’t really late. I had recently just discovered this restaurant in Eastvale and was excited to share it with my husband. They were out of flour tortillas, steak, and elote… that I know of. The food are was crusted thick with old dried on food, as I watched them refill the rice and beans into the old tray rather than switch it out, it was clear why. The staff seemed annoyed we were there. At 9:20 they started draining and closing out the drinks, stacking chairs, and tables. My husband got his lemonade refilled with a ladle from the discharge bucket. I can only hope it was clean. I do hope this isn’t typical operations, but I will be reluctant to return to this location. I hope this helps fix some operational concerns for the future and success of this location

I really love this place. It always have something new to offer. The place is very clean. The food is excellent and I was so full I have to take the other half home. Use the app to get even bigger discounts. Great atmosphere and a great vibe. I was there for lunch today April 19, 2024.

The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was very friendly.
