Lebanon & Beyond is an abject reminder why the American model of tips based on service should be considered in Australia. The food - at least what we were served in the Picada - seemed authentic. But let down by every possible dimension of service. We asked for what the table adjacent was served. Probably the easiest order possible. Except we were served half of what that ordered - a huge platter of meat without any suggestion of salad or dips which should accompany the order. Because L&B is BYO we asked for information adjacent bottle-shops. Amazingly also completely wrong advice. Then when one of our party returned with wine the indifferent service saw us service ourselves using glasses from an adjacent table. This all happened on a Sunday night when they weren't even busy so pity the poor wretches who stumble upon this place on a busy night. Suggestion: If you do keep walking! There are many good restaurants in the adjacent Beyond of Randwick!
The vegetarian mix platter was so good! Loved it!! It comes with hommous, tabbouli, French beans, bahtra, falafel, fried cauliflower and spinach pie and it was incredibly filling and delicious. It is a vegetarian platter but I think most of it is actually vegan so even better. Loved the hommous, potatoes, and fried cauliflower so, so much. Only fault is I wish they gave more of the cauliflower and perhaps took away from something else. It was a very small portion, probably only about 2 pieces from memory and it is one of my all time fav Lebanese dishes so I was a tad disappointed. But everything else more than enough made up for it, and I was actually really surprised with the falafel because I have had so many bad encounters with it I was just pretty sure I hated it, but here it was incredible! Like really really good. They also give you so much bread so you will definitely be full and satisfied by the end of it. Highly recommend this platter. The waratenib was alright, the lemon was very overpowering and hard to notice much else, but it wasn’t too bad. Service was also incredibly lovely, so it really did make for an enjoyable meal and evening all around.

Shows the best Lebanese square in the eastern suburbs. my favorite dishes are garlauch huhn and sheikh el mahshe, which is near Greek moussaka, but without the bechamel. dips are good. for someone who likes great portions, this place is the heaven. good value for money.
