Oh my word, I don't even know where to begin with this one. I really wanted to like this place however what you want and what you get are like 15 different...
I'm a local. My boyfriend and I tried this spot out for the first time a couple of weeks ago. First, while I understand that this is a family owned...
My husband and I had our Valentine's Day dinner here. The server was very nice and the food was fresh and wonderful. The cook (which can also be the owner) came out to ask how our food was and was also very nice. It is a small and cozy place. My only suggestion would be to rent an experienced bartender. I had no desire for the drinks at all. We had a great dinner and will go again for food and atmosphere.
Windsor Inn has a lot of options on its menu to please everyone. Two small plates are a little less than a duck. The potatoes and salads that come with the ducks are very good. If you order a duck, you will have a lot for lunch the next day. We had crabs filled mushrooms, crab cakes, goat cheese bruschetta, lemon calfsal, pesto pasta, prosciutto packed asparagus and white pizza. The crab stuff was very good. The restaurant has a bit of olive oil over the board. If you plan to share small plates, make sure that you ask your server whether the plate is suitable for exchange. Some small plates do not work well as appetizers for more than one. Overall a good value and very well appreciated.
