A pleasant village pub. Friendly locals, helpful staff, nice selection of ales.
Another good night at the Farriers with my mates. By far the most reasonably priced food of any pub in the area and also as ever the portions were large, well cooked and piping hot, especially the fish and chips with the fish portion that big it hung over either side of the plate. The beers are well kept and reasonably hence the crowded pub on Friday night . If you want to eat in the evening I would always advise to reserve a table as they can all be taken up by 7pm . A basic old fashioned village pub with good food....
Hello, Took this opportunity to add a bit of context into the response by The Manager . It has been myself who has been challenged and could provide not only a single ID but rather offered to show a British driving licence, but that was declined I suspect reasons, but do not feel they should be mentioned since they do not change the opinion at all. I would not recommend this place, based on how we were treated and although I could provide further proof, feel that there is no point to do so as there are better places and breweries in the area where we felt welcomed and well treated on multiple occasions. Regards, Alan
