Everything was great, but there was no toilet paper in the men's restroom.
I hate to say it, but when you order tacos, you expect a decent amount of protein. Instead, I found just 3-4 small pieces in my tacos. Even after paying for extra protein, they only added 2-3 more pieces. I’m not asking for anything free; I just expect to get what I paid for, not just tortillas. This Chipotle in Redlands really needs to improve! I've had great experiences with Chipotle in other cities.
The food was wonderful, with the pinto beans cooked to perfection. The rice was somewhat undercooked, but the service felt rushed and dismissive—like they were just eager to get us out the door without any effort to engage with us. I can understand that attitude from a restaurant that serves mainly travelers, but this place caters mostly to locals. The overall vibe was rather indifferent. However, the food was truly great; I remember visiting years ago when the quality wasn't as high. As long as the food is good, I'm okay with lacking customer service.
Chipotle is a great spot for those looking for a healthier burrito option. They offer black beans, a variety of meats, and white rice that isn't cooked in oil. It's definitely a smarter choice for health-conscious diners. However, I do have a critique: when they wrap the burrito, the rice isn't mixed with the meat and other ingredients. Occasionally, I find myself taking a bite where all I taste is rice. It would be better if they mixed everything together, so each bite includes a bit of all the flavors. The prices are quite reasonable for burritos or tacos, ranging from $4 to $7 for a meal, but keep in mind that drinks are not included and must be paid for separately.
