I paid ahead of time at the counter and paid the 15+ tip on the credit card receipt to the manager despite the half service. After a mediocre overpriced meal, the angry waiter demanded tip and wanted to see my credit card receipt, when they should be checking the signed receipt at the front ordering counter.
Ordered two crabs and the spicy fish stew. Great meal, great service.
Food here is bad. Had to wait almost one hour for the steamed crab which is very expensive for it's size.
I come here mostly because it invokes memories of lunches with my mom. The quality of the crab is much better during the winter than in the summer. The Korean clam soup is delicious, though I wish they had continued to cook it with jalapeño slices to give it a bit of spice. My husband, new to the restaurant, made the error of ordering the fish and chips. I didn’t stop him since that’s not my style, but he learned soon enough that doing so was a mistake. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. My dad and I will keep going back for crabs and soup.
I asked the lady for one crab. She said it was $65. I’m like it Trippin for one thing never again.
