Mr Mikes Steakhouse Casual - Regina

My wife and I had last visited herrn mikes on 13th january 2023 for a late birthday meal. (before the pandemic was herr mikes our place for celebrating.) on the 13th there was no one who welcomed us, and I had to ask where the rest of the staff was. (we arrived at 11: 30 a.m. and except 6 persons in the bar the place was empty. Finally we were welcomed and brought to a table. it seemed that only one waitress/water was on the service for the restaurant and bar. about 12:15 a second employee arrived. at this time the restaurant was very busy. our food was as usual, but the lack of personal and service let us impress that it would come our last time here. but our adult daughter had a birthday on 31 January and she likes mr. mikes. So I decided to try this place again. yesterday it was like a walk into the restaurant before the pandemic. we were greeted by ashley when we arrived with a big smile and accompanied on our table. she was very friendly and attentive to our needs. eating came very fast and was great (including one of the new 9 article menu I enjoyed very much. when we left, we wondered if we had just experienced a time-wake. that was the old restaurant we remembered! great eating, great staff (believes there were 3 dining room staff in the service yesterday and a large dining room experience. the big vibe at mr. mikes was back!

I only sat in this place and I had a great meal and excellent service! And the price is reasonable:

First time in probably 10 years I didn't leave a tip after a meal. Server forgot parts of the order, and tables meals were presented separately a few minutes apart, so two of us our meals 5 to 10 minutes later than all... Not sure why I was disappointed by this chain.

Traveling in the time of Covid we do not have the right food in the house. We ordered about SkipTheDishes. I ordered the Kickass Chicken Salad. He lives up to his name. Dressing and hot chicken packed on the side made for a super delicious and crispy...salad. The dressage was lively and light, but charged to taste. They were even capable of my “no onion” request, which speaks with the freshness of the salad. We will definitely try again if we can come for a hot steak.

We have always enjoyed eating in at Mr Mike's but with dining rooms closed, I appreciate their takeout options. It was east to order, the food was very tasty and the contactless pickup was quick and easy.
