Geisshof Hunziker Thomas - Reinach

Since 2013 we have been very happy to have refreshed guests at the geisshof. on the day after our high season I needed a dinner reservation for 21 people. it was a busy Saturday evening in august and we were welcomed, but warned that we probably had to be a little patient, as the hostage had already held a high-time celebration this evening. when they agreed to take us on hemdnitice when no one else was agreed. we never had to wait, service was friendly and upbeat and eating, each ordered individually from the menu, was excellent. we always have the same experience every time we have visited since. thanks family hunziker!

We arrived at Geissof and found the front door locked. as it seemed to be in activity, a member of the party checked a side door and found that the restaurant was opened. we were kindly greeted and sitting by our waitress. she was very patient with our lack of German skills. the view is spectacular, with a view of the green hills around gontenschwil. the soup and carving were excellent. the local wine was good. the chef, thomas hunziker, came out to ensure that everything was sufficient.
