Many, many years ago, last time here. at the time there was only a forest path from the square to the hotelwolfsberg. an asphalted road has long been built. that is very narrow and there are only a few different points. the hotel was built in 1890 to offer rich citizens who wanted to reach the summer fresh from dresden. the transport found in dunes with the horse transport from the railway station badly shandau, which could have been a quarter of a day trip. since 1946 the hotel is family owned, major renovations and modernization measures were possible after 1990, 1992 the mentioned road construction took place, in 1994 with the construction of a glazed veranda was also possible the beautiful view for the guests with rain or cold weather. to reach is the hotel from the direction dresden, through the ride on the b 172 until shortly before the elb bridge near badly Schandau, but not cross it, but turn right. past the railway station badly Schandau they come to the nativity and then to Schöna reinhardtsdorf. there through the whole place and to the wolfsberg. it's all well signed. numerous parking spaces are available in the hotel, with our visit before some weeks there were a few more. in the hotel and restaurant are to overcome numerous steps, therefore for disabled, if without help on the go, rather not suitable. when they arrive at the top, they enter either the cozy dining room spanning by an impressive stucco ceiling. further space areas are also available. or they go to the right and come to the partly covered terrace. here, with beautiful weather, immediately becomes a wow feeling, to be magnificent, which is in the direction south-east. in some distance to see parts of reinhardtsdorf, behind it lies the mountain of the Saxon Switzerland, which extends transversely to the Czech Republic. who wants to look at the kreisstein, the winter, the roses, the cold and the tannenberg, as well as the Shrammstein chain in all rest is here. nice weather let us sit outside. a friendly service quickly brought the iron cards and asked for drinks. it takes only a short time, already standing well cooled dresdener feldschlößchen pils 0.4 l for 3,20 €, margon water 0.7 l fl. 2,90 € and wein 0.2 l sopp for 4,30 € on the table. the order of 2 soljanka per 3, 90 €, which is practically an East German court and found four different main dishes and after 5 minutes came the suppenare. The delicious meals were served for 20 minutes. we enjoyed at fried bachforelle €13.50, in the kitchen supplied fresh from the near rathmannsdorf, at wildgulasch with bohemian knödeln €11.50, steak mailänder art 11,50 € and chicken breast fillet with ananas and cheese baked €11.30 both with kartoffel croquettes. they could have stayed here for hours, but another destination in the beautiful mountain landscape on the elbe, which was visited for the afternoon, let us be satisfied and satisfied. to the hotel itself we can't say anything because not overlooked. only the incredible rest up here. no traffic noises, the road can only be used for airfields without transit traffic. here it can be very relaxing, the environment also invites them to extensive hikes. to the conclusion a note on the opening times of the restaurant. from april to october is open daily from 11 o'clock, kitchen hours 11:30 15 and 17 21 o'clock. from november to March they are only open on Sundays and Sundays from 11 17 o'clock. better call before, because the way is always a bit far, they don't want to return it for free.

Just perfect. The rooms we had a double room with a small balcony, simply wonderful), the fantastic location, friendly staff.... the owner Mr. Helth is very warm and friendly.
