The place smells a little fishy. I chose 2 courses from the menu (no fish) and they were well presented and tastefully OK. To be honest, I have seen better food in 1-star restaurants, and even non-star, but for the city of Remscheid it is certainly one of the best choices for dinner.
Great food, great service and very beautiful place, the best in the area Very uniform taste from Aptizer to dessert. Beautiful experience and very good value for money
Excellent high quality food. Delicious and worth a visit. The first Michelin-star restaurant in the Bergisches Region. In a former villa on a hill overlooking Remscheid, visitors can park cars on their premises. Although only one restaurant, one section serves the Michelin Star menu, while the other one a non-Michelin star. The latter has seasonal specialities ranging from Christmas and Valentine's Day menus to lobster and fish days, wine days (if I remember correctly) and wild game. The Valentine's Day menu was generally delicious and also the fact that I don't eat red meat. For the starters we had red tuna carpaccio, which, as accelerated on Japanese sushi and sashimi, was simply OK. From all records it was the one we enjoyed the least. Then followed fish and duck breast, both of which were fantastic. For dessert we had braided pancakes with ice. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you enjoy good food!
So everything was not as perfect as expected in a Michelin Starred restaurant, this venue style deserves a 5 review from me due to the Price Performance Ratio, High Quality/Serving and Location/Ambiance. The restaurant is located in a beautiful villa on the hills in the suburb of Remscheid. They are well visited and sit beautiful and formal with this typical elevated place. After ordering the drinks and ordering some special wishes for the menu, I will be Wachtel instead of Lamb) the staff served the breads and Amuse Bouche. Since it was a very busy Saturday night, employees needed some time to use the finished menu and in some points too long between the courses. We arrived at 6:00 and dinner ended at 11:00...
